Ark Resources is Victoria’s largest private provider of Energy Ratings for private dwellings, apartments and multi-unit developments. Our experienced team of assessors is accredited by the Building Designers Association Victoria (BDAV) and Association of Building Sustainability Assessors (ABSA).
We are experienced in recommending cost-effective, practical and energy-efficient design and construction strategies. We are familiar with Victorian planning and building regulations and will ensure that your project complies with current regulations. We have advised on numerous projects ranging from high-rise apartment buildings to individual homes and are familiar with evolving construction techniques and the range of energy-efficient products available.
Our full-service Energy Rating assessment includes:
- Confirming design and construction details with project designers
- Recommending modifications to improve ratings
- Optimising energy ratings to the regulatory (or other) standard
- Preparing energy rating reports for submission to Council or Building Surveyors
We recommend that energy ratings be carried out early in the design phase so that modifications can be integrated into the building design without affecting project timelines. Should any design changes be required, we work closely with our clients to recommend solutions consistent with your design philosophy and budget.
